Mr. Kent D. Kedl, is Founder of Blue Ocean Advisors, Risk and Strategy Advisory and an international reputed expert on geopolitical risk, mergers and acquisitions and organic growth strategies, China regulatory policy, crisis management and compliance as well as commercial and government affairs strategy, which include geopolitical risk assessments, crisis response management, regulatory investigations in China, crisis management training, fit-for-purpose compliance standards and programs, China entry strategies and acquisitions, divestment of China assets, due diligence etc. Kent has over 40 years of living and working in China and across Asia. Kent has the following related experience including without limitation:
1. Geopolitical risk assessments for multinational companies operating in China identifying commercial and regulatory risks, potential “worst-case” scenarios and triggers, and recommending risk mitigation measures.
2. Briefings to global HQ executive committees and boards on geopolitical risks in the Greater China region, changes in China regulatory enforcement and potential Chinese response scenarios to global sanctions.
3. Design and implement fit-for-purpose compliance standards and programs in China and across Asia focused on ethics, legal compliance and successful business operations.
4. Crisis response management, supporting as “chief of staff” during a crisis to guide and organize the crisis team.
5. Advise MNCs facing regulatory investigations in China to complete an internal investigation and craft a response to regulatory authorities to resolve the situation and ensure business continuity.
6. Design and delivered crisis management training to China-based teams and HQ personnel drilling teams on principals of crisis response in both table-top and live fire situations.
7. Advise MNCs on China entry strategies and acquisitions, identifying potential equity partners, structuring and negotiating the deal. Key sectors include life sciences, education, high-tech manufacturing, consumer products and F & B.
8. Perform due diligence on potential suppliers and partners, including commercial, regulatory and political diligence.

Mr. T.T. T.T’s related experience includes:
1.12 years with Avery Dennison in US as R&D/Product Development Director for the corporation’s most profitable, growth businesses—sustained 25+% new products ratio.
2.12 years with Avery Dennison building, growing and turning around industrial and consumer businesses in China/Asia. Spearheaded greenfield startup of Material Business in 1994, growing it to $30M and profitability within 4 years; it is a $500M business today.
3.18 years of Operating Partner experience with CITIC Capital Partners, EQT, Blue Point Capital Partners, Harbour Group, American Industrial Partners, Vector Capital Partners and other firms. During 2008 downturn, in 2 years as CEO, right-sized an unprofitable global business. Led business to 15+% EBITDA amidst 30% sales reduction.
4.Completed 14 interim GM/CEO assignments in Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Medical Devices and general industries over last 16 years, half for PE firms, 12 are turnaround cases, and one including acquisition. Example: stabilized a Medical Devices business in 6 months, raising gross margin 2%, lowering expenses 7%, reducing headcount 20%, halting a misguided $1.5M capital expansion while bolstering the business.
5.Served as Legal Rep, Board Member or Supervisor in many client companies.
6.Coached 80+ executives in Automotive, Food, Agricultural, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Electronics and Cruise Liner industries.
7.16 years as Chairman or Vice Chair of Manufacturers Committee in Am Cham Shanghai.
